This disclaimer applies to my website, including my blogs, videos, downloads, resources, emails, free Cognitive Load Audit, written summaries, coaching programme, course materials, worksheets, group sessions, one-to-one sessions and any other content or support I provide.

Please read this disclaimer carefully before using my website, completing my Cognitive Load Audit, reading any written summary from me, or taking part in my coaching programme.

1. About me and my professional status

I am a sole trader providing coaching, education and information to consumers under the law of England and Wales.

I am a former community pharmacist. However, I am not currently registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and I do not provide pharmacy, medical, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or healthcare services.

Nothing on my website, in my Cognitive Load Audit, in any written summary, or in my coaching programme should be understood as pharmacy, medical, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic or healthcare advice.

2. My content is for coaching, educational and informational purposes only

The content I provide is intended to help you reflect on matters such as cognitive load, working patterns, focus, memory, productivity, habits, routines, meetings, interruptions, decision-making, boundaries and wellbeing from a coaching and educational perspective.

My content is not intended to diagnose, assess, monitor, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, mental health condition, cognitive condition, neurological condition or other health issue.

My content is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, treatment or support from an appropriately qualified and regulated healthcare professional, such as your GP, pharmacist, consultant, nurse, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist or other relevant professional.

3. No medical, clinical, pharmaceutical or therapeutic advice

I do not provide medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic or therapeutic advice.

In particular, I do not advise you to:

  • start, stop, increase, reduce or change any medication;

  • start, stop, increase, reduce or change any supplement;

  • start, stop or change any treatment, therapy, care plan or clinical recommendation;

  • ignore medical advice you have already been given;

  • delay seeking medical advice;

  • self-diagnose or self-treat any condition;

  • rely on my content instead of speaking to an appropriately qualified and regulated healthcare professional.

If you have any concerns about your health, memory, cognition, mood, stress levels, sleep, medication, supplements, symptoms or treatment, you should contact an appropriate regulated healthcare professional.

If you think you may need urgent medical help, you should contact NHS 111, your GP, urgent care services or emergency services as appropriate. In an emergency, call 999.

4. Website content, blogs, videos and downloads

My website content, blogs, videos, downloads and resources are provided for general coaching, educational and informational purposes only.

They are not tailored to your individual medical history, medication, symptoms, diagnoses, test results, risk factors, personal circumstances or health needs.

Although I aim to provide helpful and accurate information, health-related research and guidance can change. I do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, up to date or suitable for your personal circumstances.

You should not rely on my website content as a basis for making medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, treatment, supplement or health decisions.

5. Cognitive Load Audit and written summaries

My free Cognitive Load Audit is designed to help you reflect on aspects of your working patterns and cognitive load. It may consider matters such as meetings, interruptions, workload, decision-making, working hours, recovery time, boundaries and focus.

The Cognitive Load Audit and any written summary I provide are for coaching, educational and informational purposes only.

They are not:

  • a medical assessment;

  • a clinical assessment;

  • a pharmaceutical assessment;

  • a mental health assessment;

  • a cognitive assessment;

  • a diagnostic tool;

  • a dementia, ADHD, menopause, burnout, anxiety, depression or stress assessment;

  • a substitute for advice from a regulated healthcare professional.

Any written summary I provide is based only on the information you choose to provide in the audit. It does not take account of your full medical history, medication, symptoms, diagnoses, test results or other personal health information.

Please do not include health, symptom, medication, supplement, diagnosis or treatment information in your Cognitive Load Audit responses. If you do include this type of information, I will not use it to provide medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic or therapeutic advice.

6. Coaching programme

My coaching programme is provided for coaching, educational and informational purposes only.

The programme may help you explore areas such as cognitive load, memory, focus, routines, productivity, wellbeing, lifestyle factors, working patterns and practical strategies. However, the programme is not healthcare, therapy, medical treatment, clinical treatment, pharmacy advice or a diagnostic service.

Taking part in the coaching programme does not create a pharmacist-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-client or healthcare professional-patient relationship between us.

You remain responsible for deciding whether the programme is suitable for you and for seeking appropriate medical or professional advice where needed.

7. Supplements and blood tests

My coaching programme includes a module that discusses general evidence and information relating to supplements and certain blood tests that some people may wish to ask their GP or another appropriate regulated healthcare professional about.

This content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

I do not advise you to start, stop, increase, reduce or change any supplement. I do not advise you to start, stop or change any medication or treatment. I do not recommend that any specific supplement, medication, blood test, investigation or treatment is suitable for you.

Any discussion of supplements is not a personal supplement recommendation. Any discussion of blood tests is not a clinical referral, diagnosis, investigation plan or instruction to request testing.

If you are considering taking supplements, changing supplements, requesting blood tests, changing medication or making any health-related decision, you should speak to an appropriately qualified and regulated healthcare professional first.

This is particularly important if you:

  • are pregnant or breastfeeding;

  • have any medical condition;

  • are taking prescribed or over-the-counter medication;

  • are under the care of a GP, consultant or other healthcare professional;

  • have allergies or previous adverse reactions;

  • are considering supplements for a child or vulnerable person.

12. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you have as a consumer under the law of England and Wales.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
